Woven Word Designs is located in Marietta, Georgia. Family owned by Monique and Mark Droege, the company creates products combining scriptures with Monique's artwork.
After reading the book "The Dream Giver" by Bruce Wilkerson, God planted a seed of an idea in my mind... to combine His Word with my drawings and create beautiful products to sell.
After more than 25 years of being a full time homemaker and mother, stepping into creating a small business was a leap of faith. My previous work experience has been in the field of interior design. I have always loved the textiles used in interiors as well as doing the drawings for this work. I wanted to apply my drawings to textiles in some way. With God's provision, the support of family and friends, the first fruits of this endeavor are these pillowcases.
The thought behind these pillowcases is that they provide a unique gift giving opportunity for both difficult and joyous times in people's lives. Each art piece includes multiple scriptures that can speak to the needs of the person receiving the gift.
As the business grows, I have many more ideas for other product applications along these lines. I hope to be able to continue to expand as God provides accordingly.
